Cypress Forest is a 368 acre master planned, mixed use residential and commercial development located on Interstate 45 and Cypresswood Drive in north Harris County. Started in the 1980's, Cypress Forest contains many sub projects. Ultimately, Cypress Forest will contain 630 homes and 80 acres of commercial development. The original development phase of Cypress Forest produced 196 residential lots and 195 homes. Homes in that phase are valued from $150,000 to $300,000 and were built by Ryland Homes, Powers Hill Homes, Ashton Woods Homes and individual custom builders.
Opened in 2005 as a private, gated, waterfront, luxury home development on 168 acres, The Lakes of Cypress Forest will contain 361 lots upon completion. Amenities include lakes, fountains, waterfalls, jogging trails, greenbelts and recreational facilities. Located off of Cypresswood Drive, 1.3 miles west of Interstate 45, Section 1 contains 91 lots, of which 87 have been sold. Section 2 consists of 45 lots, of which 35 have been sold. Section 3 contains 92 lots, of which 35 have been sold. Darling Homes and Dunn & Stone Builders are constructing luxury homes in Lakes of Cypress Forest from $325,000 to $700,000.
Cypress Forest Lakes is a private residential development adjacent to three lakes, surrounded by a park/picnic area, nature trails meandering around the lakes and the Forest Oaks Swim and Racket Club. Forest Oaks Swim and Racket Club has 8 lighted tennis courts, an Olympic size swimming pool and a meeting facility all serving all Cypress Forest communities. Cypress Forest Lakes opened in 2006 and contains 71 lots, of which 36 have been sold. Dunn & Stone Builders is constructing new homes in Cypress Forest Lakes from $250,000 to $400,000.
Albury Manor Estates opened in 1980 as a 56 acre private, gated residential community in northwest Harris County east of State Highway 249 near Tomball. Albury Manor was the first private road, gated community in Greater Houston. All 49 acreage home sites have been sold and 45 custom-built homes valued from $200,000 to $500,000 are located within Albury Manor.
Albury Trails Estates is a 170 acre residential development in northwest Harris County, near the intersection of Huffsmith Kohrville Road and Spell Road. Albury Trails Estates is adjacent to Albury Manor Estates, but is a traditional public development. Located within the highly acclaimed Klein Independent School District, Albury Trails Estates will contain 412 homes upon completion. Albury Trails Estates Section One was completed in 2007 and contains 78 lots. Section Two was completed in 2008 and contains 114. A total of 46 lots have been sold in Albury Trails. Dunn & Stone Builders is constructing new homes in Albury Trails from $190,000 to $280,000.
